Week of November 30, 2009

hello fam
this week was pretty crazy. tranfers are not till dec 9th but i got a greenie from brussels as you all have heard. its been a interseting couple of days haha. its pretty crazy to hear from someone who is a member and that grew up in europe and especially belgium. he speaks french dutch and english. but his dutch accent is hard for me to understand. i remember hedi skanchy saying how hard it was for her to understand the ppls english in ireland when they picked up jeff. my companion, elder bastiens, went to a dutch speaking school and spoke french at his house. he then learned english by watching usa movies, tv and our entertainment.
i cant believe its december tomorrow. oh and im glad to hear that byu beat u of u. sorry dad, bry and bard bard. the utes justed couldnt pull it off. that reminds me of when jason, andrew, chad and i went to vegas to watch byu play ucla and we all stormed the feild. oh man i cant wait for that again.
tomorrow we are going to the den haag temple for zone conference. be grateful that you all can go whenever you want. we only go twice a year.
i dont know if you remember ahn from apeldoorn who elder jacobs and i found. she is from vietnam and got baptized last saturday. she then got the holy ghost on sunday. im so happy for her. i heard that everything went great and that the ward is taking care of her.
for our thanksgiving dinner we had a senior couple cook for us after ditrict meeting. it was thee second best meal that i have had on my mission (the first being the huge steak,when the american took us out).

p.s. thats cool that you all went to the little cottonwood ward for nebekers farewell talk. you say bj and travis. oh i love those guys so much. i cant wait to visit that ward when i get back.
