Week of September 8th

Yo Yo Howell fam
ok i just want to say first that i love it here in amsterdam. omg the lord has blessed me so much its incredidle. it was truely thee hardest month in my life when i first came over here. i love it here so much omg. i have been blessed to labor in amsterdam for my first city and i want to stay here for my whole mission. i have so much things to tell of of you. i am goign to try and send a package home with food, pics, shirsts and stuff today but we will see.
ok so i had my first encounter with the red light district last week. it was soooo funny. my comp and i were walking around the city just teaching and talking to ppl. we went down this ally and we looked to our sides and there were girls dressed very immostly hahahah. i was like what is this, having no thought about the red light district. my comp and i then looked up and saw "red lights" haha we hurry and ran straight through the ally then the best part happpened. we ran through and we entered a full on red light distrct haahah so funny. we then walked back the way we can pretty fast hahaha. so funny. the red light districts can be like anywhere here. you might turn a corner and there will be red lights haha.
oh some exciting news. on sept 17 my comp and i are going to the TEMPLE, ya thats right. my comp baptized a girl who is going through and the pres said we could go omg im so ecxited you have no idea. we get to go to the temple twice a year so i will be able to go an extra time.
oh some sister missionary here in my district here is from slc. she went to skyline. i told her if she knew the skanchys. she was like ya he gave me my patrical blessing, i was like yaaa thats my grandpa haha. it was awesome.
ok so i have a pretty awesome experince to share. my comp and i were tracting and we meet this guy named clifton from suriname. long story short he said he had a dream that 2 ppl from american would come to him and bring him the gospel, ya holy crap i know, i freaked out to. so we made an appt with him. we went over on saturday with the elder missionaries in our mission. elder and sister funk from ogden utah. we went to cliftsons and started teaching him and his mom just about plan of salvation and the restoration. it then came to my turn to teach. i was teaching the apostacy and the restoration in dutch. i wasnt doin to good. it then came to the first vision part of the lesson. omg i started teaching about the sacred grove and joseph seeeing god the father and jesus chirst. i was balling my eyes out, i was crying like a baby. it was such a incredible experience for me. after clifton came up to me and started talking and was like, elder howell i dont care what my mom says, but i feelt somethin, and i know that what you all taught me is true. we are going back on wends for another lesson. he is definatly gettin baptized.
ok so i made a list of what countries ppl are from who i have meet/or taught. Gana, Suriname, Kurisal, Bolivia, England, Austriala, Domincan Republic (what up bardy, im teachin your ppl to haha), Iraq, Mexico, Turkey, Liberia, Capetown africa, Napal, Portugal, China, Japan, France, Germany, India (shirlanka), Colombia, and Yogoslavia. i have more but isnt that crazy hahaa. its truely a blessing to be here in amsterdam right now.
ok so tommorw is zone conference. i heard some new missionry thing is comin out for missionaries. someone form the 70 is comin but i forget his name I love you all Elder Howell P.S. Alma 56: 48-49 ""...Yea and they had been taught be thier mothers, that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them. and they rehearsed unto me the words of thier mothers saying, WE DO NOT DOUBT OUR MOTHERS KNEW IT""
