Week of September 28, 2009

hey howell fam
thanks for the email. thats so awesome mom that you sat by that girl
from eindhoven. that was one of my favorite citys. oh ya, before i
forget, i got your package. thank you soooo much. you guys are such
a blessing.
so last week was awesome. my comp and i went to brussels for the
meeting. it was pretty powerful. we went to ""waterloo"". you guys
should check it out on the internet. its a place where Napoleono
fought against the dutch, belgiums, english, and some other ppl. it
was pretty awesome. president brubaker is doing way good. i love
that man so much. its really easy to relate to. he shares alot of
things that he went through when he served his mission in belgium.
we also had the chance to have a ""mini missionary"" come with us this
past weekend. he is from amsterdam and his name is Duko. my comp and
i both served in amsterdam so we both knew him. we had a way fun
time. oh and we realized how terrible our dutch was when duko was
correcting us every other sentence hahah. just on the little things
though haha. he is planning in going on a mission anytime soon. his
mission papers are in so hés just waiting for his call. he's english
is also way good.
well fam, thanks for all your love and support. i just want to let
you know that im so happy out here. this ward apeldoorn and my comp
elder jacobs are awesome. its a blessing to be here. i wouldnt of
had these experiences if i didnt choose to go on a mission and to be
here in apeldoorn at this time in my life. my testimony grows every
single day and my knowledge of the scriptures in being strentghed.
oh before i forget. on saturday we taught 10 chinesse students who
live in Deventer which is a college city about 15 minutues from
apeldoorn. they fixed us athentic chinesse food. im talkin the real
deal. then after they asked us all these questions and we taught them
the plan of salvation. the spirit was soooo strong. we also brought
a chinesse convert who got baptized about 3 monhts ago here in
apeldoorn. and after the appointment one of the chinesse guys called
the joint teacher who we brought and said that we wants to get
baptized. it was soo powerful and i will never forget that
experience. these chinesse students dont even know anything about
chirst. they are so smart and so intelligent. i cant wait for china
to be opened for missionaywork.
i love you all. thanks for everything.
