Week of September 14, 2009

thanks for the email. well this past week was one of the most spiritial weeks and craziest weeks of my mission.
on wednesday we got a call from one of our missionaries and he said that while he was showering that his comp ran off. we drove to thier city and looked for me. the next day he came home to the apartment. he's goin home this week. we tried talking to him and to help him stay but he just dosnet want to be here.
so that was the crazy part haha. now the spiritial part. we had zone conference this past week and president Kopiscke who is the president of europe came. we talked alot about the doctrine of the gospel especially about agency, faith, and teaching. it was so spiritial. he is from germany and speaks fluent english. i really learned alot from him.
then on saturday all the zone leaders and a conference with him. we traveled to brussels so that all the zone leaders could meet. it was sooooo powerful. we could ask questions for about 2 hours which was awesome. i not only felt the spirit way strong, but i literally saw it working with pres kopiscke. it was a testimony builder for sure.
oh ya and transfers. my comp will be leaving one of my best freinds out here in comin to work with me. i told presidnet on saturday that him and i would work really good together. (sunday is when they do transfers). so i guess pres brubacker really took it into consideration hahahah. his name is elder jacobs. he's from apline utah. i acutally lived with him when i was in eindhoven. he goes home in febuary. solid missionary.
so we are teaching maybe 6 people right now. we got a referrel from some other elders and his name is stephen from china. he is sooo amazing. he's desire to follow chirst in seriously unbelievable. he said one of the best prayers that i have heard in awhile a couple of days ago.
thanks for all your love and support. thats crazy that taylor comes home in 6 months and that david is leavin soon. i got a invitation to his farwell in the mail a couple of days ago.
