yo mama and Howell fam
thank you so much for the emails. i really appreciate. so this past week we were able to go to amsterdam and to meet our new mission president, president Burbaker. he and his wife are soooo awesome. they are from Salt Lake City and he worked in real esate before he came out here. they are so funny and spiritial. its going to be way fun to be able to serve with them for the rest of my mission.
well the work here is going wayyyy good. the ward here in Den Haag is serioulsy amazing. they are so focused on missionary work, ive never seen it like this before anywhere else.
i was sitting in sunday school yesterday and i was just looking around and seeing all the differnt kind of people. there were members from figi, indonasia, france, nigeria, ghana, australlia, and many other places. the restored gospel of Jesus Christ brings ppl from ALL nations together. how blessed are we!!!!
lately, ive been pondering alot of my own testimony. my mission here in the netherlands has not been easy. and i think that i have complained too much haha. but ive really seen how much i have grown and learned. im so grateful for a personal conviction/testimony of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Chirst. I know that this church is true because the holy ghost has burned my soul so many times. i know that Jesus Christ is the Center of the plan of Salvation. how blessed are we.
we are currently teaching a young lady from indonasia. her name is pipit and she is studying here in Den Haag. she is one of the most amazing girls i have meet on my mission. its such a blessing to see how god works with people. i have seen the power of thee atonement change her life and influence her. what a blessing it is to be here and see people change into ""new creatures"".
i love you all with all my heart. thanks for your love and support. Scott, Linda, Bryan, Marissa, Mckenzie, jaxson, brad, Jason, and lindsey, i love you.
love,
elder Jeff Howell
