Week of March 23rd

hey mama and fam
ok so that dutch you wrote at the end of my email was sooooo sweet to read. mom you can speak dutch. k i gotta know who helped you out with that? haha. omg that made my day
so we had a awesome week this past week. as you know we were able to have pres oaks come and speak with us. this was definatly one of the most spiritial meetings of my life. we talked alot about planning and finding. elder oaks told us that pres packer said that one thing that really hits missionaries and keeps them from having success is PLANNING. we also talked alot about working with the members and how we can bettter do that. we also found out that our mission will be down sizing this year. i dont know all the details but pres woodland told us that we will be losing 55 missionaries from now till september and he did not say how much we will be gaining, but he said less. the europe presidency believes if we have less missionaries then we will be more effective. im pretty excited.
on friday, we get to go through the temple with someone that elder hansen baptized. we are stooked. the temple is going to be good to get a lil break if ya know what i mean.
i talked to yelmer, the dutch man who elder rock and i baptized in amsterdam, and he has plans to get marrried in the temple with his wife in sept. and yea he is married to his brazilian girl friend and they live in belgium in a city called antwerpen. she could not move to the netherlands cause it is difficult to immigrate here so they moved to belgium together. and yelmer is doing great. what a blessing it was to able to meet him and see his conversion process.
has elder rock or elder gish called you yet. i told those bumbs to call you, so they better.
oh and thank u for the letters from grandpa howells birthday. i cant believe he is 80. it was sooooo good to hear from all of the cousins.
transfers are coming up next week but i'll be staying here probably cause elder hansen is tot ziens (good bye).
i love you alll so much. keep the commandments, Mosiah 2:41
love,
Elder Howell
