Week of November 3rd

hey hey howell fam
thank you for the birthday emails. it is crazy to think that i am 20 now. i feel like i am 16 sometimes haha.
so tonight we are going over to zuster verboekets house to celebrate my birthday. she is a single lady about 45 years old. it should be fun, im pretty excited.
i got my pakage last week but im not opening it up until tomorrow. i am way excited to see what you guys got for me.
i bought a coat last p day. it cost about 70 euros. some i´ll be good for the winter.
eindhoven is doing great. we are having a bapztism on nov 15th. his name is peter from siere leone. he is a good man. he dosent have a job or dosnt go to school. the goverment here in the netherlands is crazy. all these people we meet live off the goverment. its honeslty insane. we are trying to look for families and ``normal`` people to baptize haha. what i mean by normal is that they have a job, work for themselves. missionaris tend to always find weird people haha but thats not a bad thing though. i would like to find a normal family but that takes hard work.
since i have been on my mission, i really have realized how hard missionary work is. theres a quote from president hinckly that says the only way missionary work will progress, is through the help of the members. that is sooooo true. we are trying to get these members here in eindhoven ecxited about missionary work. we as latter day saints have chances EVERYDAY to share the gospel. i know that to be true.
elder king is my comp. he is from lewiston utah like 30 mins from logan. he is a good missionary. this is his last transfer. so i will be taken over eindhoven when he leaves which will be crazy. i´ll have to show my new comp all the streets and what not.
i love you alll sooooo much. its been a crazy past couple of months for me as i have been on my mission. i have learned so much and have had so many up and downs. i pray for all of you multiple times a day. i am so blessed to have thee greatest family, the howell family. ive really ben thinking and reading alot about finding joy on the journey by president monson. i have been on my mission for 5 months now and its going by so fast. i want to have that joy all the time while i am here. i was thinking to myself today, i was able to serve in the city of amsterdam, how freakin awesome is that. and my comp and i brought yelmer unto the fold of christ. wow, awesome.
i love you all
Elder howell
